🚗 Vehicle Safety Reminder

Staffordshire Police are reminding residents to protect their vehicles, as offenders continue to use both modern and traditional methods to commit vehicle crime.

🔑 Keyless vehicles

Keep keys away from doors and windows

Use signal‑blocking (Faraday) pouches where possible

Lock vehicles manually and check they are secure

Disable keyless entry if your vehicle allows

🔒 Traditional vehicle security still matters

Always lock your vehicle, even for short stops

Remove valuables and bags from view

Use physical deterrents such as steering wheel or pedal locks

Park in well‑lit areas or on driveways

Secure garages, sheds, and outbuildings

👀 Please report suspicious behaviour such as people trying door handles or checking vehicles.
